This vibrant, ruby-red herbal tea is both refreshing and packed with flavor. Tart hibiscus flowers are balanced with fresh lemon juice and just the right amount of sweetness. Serve it hot or iced!

Ingredients

Lemons
For the Tea: Tea

· ½ cup (about 20g) dried hibiscus flowers (also called “Jamaica”)
· 4 cups water
· 2-3 tablespoons honey or sugar (adjust to taste)
· 1-2 cinnamon sticks (optional)
· 4-5 whole cloves (optional)

For Serving:

· ¼ cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
· Lemon slices for garnish
· Fresh mint leaves (optional)
· Ice cubes (for iced version)
